Join UNSW Science for an exciting morning of science experiments and demonstrations. To celebrate National Science Week and Sydney Science Festival we are inviting curious primary school students to attend our science fete filled with hands-on science booths.

In the space of an hour, students will have the chance to learn about all the different science fields that make up UNSW Science and meet the fun scientists who work there.

Who can attend: Primary school classes in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and, or Year 6 are invited to attend. Space are limited and no more than 25 student spaces will be allocated to each school, unless spaces are not filled.

Teachers can select one of the following sessions.

Session A 

  • 9.30am Registration and welcome
  • 9.55am Students enter the UNSW Science Primary School Fete
  • 11.00am Event concludes. Schools invited to have their morning tea on campus

Session B

  • 11.00am Registration and welcome
  • 11.25am Students enter the UNSW Science Primary School Fete
  • 12.30pm Event concludes. Schools invited to have their lunch on campus

Registrations close Monday, 12 August.
